Jonathan is the main character of the Jonathan Park audio series. He lived in Santa Fe, until his family moved to Abiquiu. He was 10 years old in the first episode and in the most recent episode, was 16 years old.

Jonathan had a personality very similar to his father's, as he loved to learn about creation and how the earth (and beyond) showed God's handiwork. He used to have a bit of a hard time getting along with other people, especially girls.
History[]
In The Adventure Begins[]
Jonathan and his dad were on their way to Ghost Ranch to find information for an article his father was writing in a science magazine, when a tree fell in the middle of the road and they swerved into a ravine. Jonathan’s dad was unable to restart their vehicle, and decided to go look for help. As he walked over a ridge, he fell into a hole.
Jonathan found his father, who had fallen into a cave. After calling his mom to send them help, he followed his father into the cave. They were soon joined by the family that owned the property, the Brenans, Jim, Martha, Jessica, and their dog Shadow. With the consent of their parents, Jonathan and Jessie went further into the cave together, while his dad talked to Jessie’s parents. Jonathan found himself telling Jessie about his past on the way, and how he came to know Christ.
Jonathan Jessie knocked on the walls of the cavern, and a swarm of bats flew towards them. Panicked, Jessie ran and fell into a drop-off, but was snagged by the strap of her overalls. Jonathan and Shadow were able to rescue her. Their parents had heard them yelling, and came to find them. Together, they discovered a fossil. Dr. Park wanted to remove it, but helicopters were near the cave looking for them, and they had to leave.

- Although Jonathan has a hard time getting along with others (girls especially), he made friends with Jessie Brenan almost immediately when they met.
- Jonathan has a slight case of Hoplophobia (the fear of weapons).
